Who we are

Syllables Voice (the “App”) is operated by an individual. In this policy, “we/us” refers to the App operator.

Summary

The App works fully offline. We do not collect, store, or transmit personal data from your use of the App. There are no analytics, ads, or trackers.

Data we process

• In-App: Microphone audio is processed on device only to show a level meter and compute simple metrics. We do not transmit or store audio. Session metrics remain on your device. If you generate a PDF report and choose to share it, the transfer happens via the iOS share sheet to a destination you select. We do not receive this data.
• Support email: If you email us, we receive your email address, message content, and any attachments. We use this only to respond to your request.

Legal bases (GDPR/UK GDPR)

• Support emails: our legitimate interests in providing support and/or (when you ask for help) steps prior to entering a contract/performance of a contract. If you include optional information, processing is based on your consent.

Children’s privacy

The App is intended for parents to use with their children. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal data. Please do not email us children’s personal data.

Data sharing & transfers

We do not sell or share your personal data. We do not transfer it to third parties, except email infrastructure used to receive/send your message (your email provider and ours). When you share a PDF via iOS, the chosen destination’s privacy policy applies.

Retention

• Support emails: kept only as long as necessary to resolve your request, then deleted or archived securely. Default retention: up to 12 months, unless required longer to address an issue or legal obligations.
• In-App data: remains on your device. We do not access it.
